A Webb City High School graduate, Drew has been a part of multiple programs growing up, ranging from the little league to collegiate club baseball at Pittsburg State University. Drew’s specialty is hitting instruction while capable of all facets of the game including catching, defense, base running, and pitching. Drew actively serves as a voter on the National Club Baseball Association Division II Top 20 Poll and will serve as a Regional Director for NCBA DII for the 2021 Spring Season.
A 4-year member of the club baseball team at Pittsburg State, Drew was a part-time starter as a freshman spending time at DH and catcher. As a sophomore, Drew was elected Vice President, serving as an assistant coach while also handling scheduling. Drew was a starter at catcher and DH while spending time in the outfield. The Gorillas reached the 2018 NCBA Division II World Series before falling in the National Championship Game. As a junior, Drew was elected President of the club while also starting in left field and DH. This role included head coaching duties and leading baseball operations, while also managing budgets, roster decisions, practice facilities, and scheduling. Under Drew, the Gorillas were guided to a 2019 NCBA Division II National Championship win over Air Force and promotion to NCBA Division I. As a senior Drew was the primary left fielder and continued his role as President. Drew had the Gorillas ranked 14th in the NCBA DI before COVID-19 halted the 2020 season.
In high school, Drew was a member of the Webb City Cardinals baseball team, lettering as a Senior in left field. Drew also played high school showcase baseball for the Kansas City Bombers as a second baseman under the tutelage of then Maple Woods Community College assistants Justin Munson and Joe Miller.
Drew has received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Pittsburg State University.
