DESCRIPTION: The 4 States Sports 2% Camps conduct camps year round designed to teach the fundamentals of football. The  Camp is a non-contact camp, providing a fun learning experience for all campers. Each camper receives a camp t-shirt. This non-contact camp is designed to improve a player’s beginning, intermediate or advanced skill level. Fundamentals of Offensive Line and Defensive Line positions are taught in addition to life skills such as respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, teamwork and the importance of education. Participants are grouped based on age and skill level.​

This special skills camp features some of the top-coaching talents at the offensive and defensive line positions. Below are some of the coaches and players that will be here to work with you at the camp.

Gary Joice, 1999 OFBCA All-State Selection at Skiatook High School. Gary went to college at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

Since college, he has coached Minor League for 15 years producing 9 championships and a Hall of Fame Inductee.

Coach Joice has been the OL/DC coach for the Oklahoma Defenders Professional Indoor Football team.

During his 13-year coaching career at some of Oklahoma’s High Schools, Coach Joice has seen State Finals in ’14; 2 Quarterfinals and he is currently the OC/OL Coach at Chelsea High School in Chelsea, OK.

Two of his former players have received All-State Honors and he has coached 3 players to NCAA Division 1.

Jashaun Gillum is a Houston, Tx native who played his High School football at Texas High School Powerhouse Westfield High School. There he was a 3 year letterman who started at Linebacker his sophomore and Junior year and then moved to defensive end his senior year. Jashaun received numerous football scholarship offers from all over the United States. 

After graduating high school, He then chose to attend Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma where he played defensive end as a true freshmen for the Golden Norsemen as well as a starting sophomore. His sophomore year he lead the team in sacks and had numerous tackles behind the line. There he again received numerous football scholarship offers from a wide range of division 1 universities. 

Jashaun chose to sign a full scholarship to Alabama State University where he started at nose tackle for the Hornets. There he was second on the team in sacks and 1st in tackles behind the line. Jashaun received All conference SWAC honors during his time at Alabama State. 

Jashaun Gillum now lives in Houston, Tx where he owns and operates B.A.S.I.C Football Camp. He trains athletes ranging from little league to professional football players. He has trained some of the state of Texas top high school athletes who have earned football scholarship offers from some of the nations elite universities.  B.A.S.I.C Football Camp is becoming one of the most recognized training programs around. In hopes to continue to gain notoriety almost the football world and beyond. That B.A.S.I.C Football Camp is not only building athletes, but making bonds for years to come.

State Rules and Regulations: 

Please check in to the High School Sports Participation Rules in regards to athletic participation in your state. It is up to you to know and abide by these rules set by the state where your athlete is in school. Make sure that the laws/bylaws as to the time period when each athlete can/cannot participate in camps and combines of any particular sport is within the time of the camp or combine that you are signing up for.
